Well, I have not been an enthusiast about Yuneec RTF (ready-to-fly) products such as the Thypoon Q500, because material quality appears to be cheap (soft plastic) and flight behavior as well as controls feel weird, especially when you are used to DJI products.
This might change: Yuneec recently launched the all-new Tornado H920 which is a professional-grade RTF filming drone capable of carrying a gimbal for Panasonic GH4. This sounds impressive and it would be the first RTF drone of its kind being able to carry a DSLR-type camera. Especially I like the fact that Yuneec offers the options to choose 3rd party cameras which for example DJI does not do anymore for their RTF products. Furthermore, the drone material seem to be made of carbon fiber which means a significant improvement in product quality.
The MSRP is $3499, and it comes with a mobile stabilizer that looks like a Ronin-M. Thus, it seems you get a lot of value for your money. More information to follow if I get the opportunity to test it.
